2D & 3D Animations

3D Animations

This was a short animation made for a 3D model I had built in Autodesk 3Ds Max.

Animation over a sound clip from Carol Reed's 1968 film, "Oliver!". Animated in Autodesk Maya.

Emotion Transition from sad and slightly irritated to happy and excited. Inspired by Milos Forman's 1975 film, "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". Animated in Autodesk Maya.

Creature crawling out of a window. Inspired by David Cronenberg's 1986 film, "The Fly". Animated in Autodesk Maya.

Animation over sound clip from Paul Verhoeven's 1987 film, "RoboCop". Animated in Autodesk Maya.

2D Animations

This was a project I was given to do back in my days at the Art Institute to create a typographic animation matching along with a song of our choice. I chose "This is Halloween" from Tim Burton's A Nightmare Before Christmas. At the end I chose to do an extra goofy stinger to mess with my class I presented the video to. It was kind of funny at the time, but now is awkward. Decided to upload this now since I haven't been able to edit anything lately and I'm also a smidge proud of the energy I put into animating this video. It was fun! Lip Sync Project. Taking dialog from one scene and changing the scenario. In this case, a man attempting to interview an astronaut doesn't quite work out as well as the interviewer had hoped. Painted in Adobe Photoshop and animated in Adobe Illustrator.
